A. Reiman is an independent dealer in historic objects chosen for the evidence they carry.

We are interested not in age for its own sake, but in things that stood close to history: a document that exercised authority, a personal object shaped by belief or memory, a tool marked by work, or a fragment of political, military, civic, or domestic life.

The inventory moves across periods and categories. What unites it is specificity—a named person, a recorded event, a clear function, an inscription, a trace of use, or a material connection strong enough to support a credible history.

Each piece is researched, photographed, and described as an individual record. Confirmed facts are separated from supported interpretation, plausible attribution, and what remains unknown. Condition is disclosed plainly, and provenance is stated only as far as the evidence allows.

The name A. Reiman honors Aranka Reiman, the founder’s great-grandmother. It is a personal connection, not a claim of an inherited firm or manufactured history.

A. Reiman does not treat history as atmosphere. It presents what has survived it: tangible records of lives, systems, and events that might otherwise remain abstract.
